Advantages of ARGO-HYTOS Modular Valves

The flexible modular design of ARGO-HYTOS modular valves makes them highly adaptable to a variety of applications. They feature interchangeable solenoids and can be fitted with a variety of connectors, such as DIN, DEUTSCH, or APM. The valves are designed to function in a wide range of temperatures and are available in sizes from -30 to +90°C.
Modular valve assemblies can be mounted on a manifold or stacked. Each module is mounted by means of a mounting bolt. This design makes it easy to create any type of hydraulic circuit and saves space by preventing unnecessary pipe connections. Additionally, assembling the valves is not difficult, even if you do not have expertise in hydraulics or valve assembly.
The modular valves can be mounted one on top of another for easy maintenance. In addition to that, they have dedicated input and outputs. The input and output are fixed to the valve housing, and they can be swapped around with no additional piping required. The modular valves also adhere to the standards set out by the Comit European des Transmission Oleophydrauliques & Pneumatiques.
The modular valves have many advanced features to ensure a smooth flow of hydraulic oil. Unlike other valves, they do not require excessive connecting piping. They can be connected directly to each other or to a manifold block, which allows greater flexibility in hydraulic design. Another advantage of modular valves is that they eliminate excessive connecting piping, a major cause of hydraulic failure.
